International Renaissance Foundation in partnership with the Think Tank Foundation (TTF) under financial support of the Embassy of Sweden in Ukraine (SIDA) announce the “Contest “Institutional Support to Regional Think Tanks in Ukraine” within the framework of the Think Tank Support Initiative in Ukraine.
International Renaissance Foundation in partnership with the Think Tank Foundation (TTF) under financial support of the Embassy of Sweden in Ukraine (SIDA) announce the “Contest “Institutional Support to Regional Think Tanks in Ukraine” within the framework of the Think Tank Support Initiative in Ukraine.
The contest is aimed to develop the institutional capacity of regional think tanks and organizations working in the field of analytics. Within the framework of the contest organizations will be provided mini-grants for the development of a comprehensive medium-term strategy of their activity, streamlining the management, review of the charter and making the necessary changes to it, working out internal rules and procedures, audits, bringing the financial system of the organization in compliance with the international standards, etc.
For winners of the program it is planned to conduct the training in the following subjects: organization management bodies, organizational development, financial and operational management, basic course on policy analysis. In addition to it, for winners of the contest short-term study visits will be organized to the leading Ukrainian think tanks.
Total budget of the contest is 64 000 USD.
The amount of grant is 8 000 USD.
Deadline for submitting projects to the contest: 21 September 2015.
Announcement of the results of the 1st stage of the contest: by 25 September 2015.
Announcement of the results of the 2nd stage of the contest: after 27 October 2015.
