Purpose The program aims at strengthening organizational and advocacy competences of organisations of war veterans, internally displaced people and bereaved families, supporting development of better policies and inclusion mechanisms, and creating conditions for civic dialogue, understanding and reintegration

Program Priorities

Promoting cohesion, integration and inclusion at the community level

The program supports veteran and volunteer spaces, develops platforms for dialogue with the authorities and promotes the inclusion of veterans and IDPs in decision-making. The program also ensures the formation of an accessible environment in communities and the construction of an inclusive system of reintegration of prisoners of war.

Support for the physical and mental recovery of veterans, IDPs, and people affected by the war

According to this priority, the activities of the Program are aimed at advocacy and practical implementation of evidence-based methods of mental health and drug policy, implementation of standardized approaches to grief therapy, promotion of deinstitutionalization of the system of social services for seriously ill veterans and civilians.

Overcoming social tension, the consequences of vulnerability and conflict in the country through strengthening human security

Strengthening people's security and countering threats is implemented by preventing radicalization in communities, strengthening community security, interaction with law enforcement agencies in working with war victims and veterans, supporting mediation and conflict resolution activities, supporting families of the dead and missing
