Winners of the «Strengthening the socio-economic stability and self-sufficiency of Roma communities» call for proposals

The International Renaissance Foundation has selected 11 organizations that have won the call for proposals “Strengthening the socio-economic stability and self-sufficiency of Roma communities.” The call aimed to build the socio-economic sustainability and self-sufficiency of Roma communities through the development of their potential and improvement of conditions, removal of barriers, and expanding employment opportunities. Support for these projects has been made possible through the Foundation’s cooperation with the European Union in the framework of the EU4USociety partnership.

  • NGO “Roma Voice Association”. Project “School of social entrepreneurship in the beauty industry for Roma women from 4 cities of Zaporizhia and Dnipropetrovsk regions”
  • Transcarpathian Regional Charitable Foundation “Romano Lungo Trayo”. Project “Capacity Development and Improvement of Employment Conditions in Roma Communities”
  • Association of Private Employers. Project “Promotion of self-employment, professional and social integration of Roma in local communities”
  • Winds of Change Charitable Foundation. Project “Increasing access of Roma women to education, occupation and employment”
  • Public organization “South Star Club”. Project “Development of potential and expansion of employment opportunities for Roma women in Kramatorsk in the field of decor”
  • Carpathian Human Rights Agency “Wester”. Project “Roma in defence of their own labour rights!”

EU4USociety is a joint 4-year project of the International Renaissance Foundation and the European Union, aimed at strengthening the involvement, sustainability, capacity, relevance, and influence of Ukrainian civil society in addressing pressing domestic, regional, and global challenges.
