Requirements:
· 3+ years of professional experience in the field of public health or social work
· 5+ years of proven experience in program and grant management including monitoring and evaluation as well as budget planning
· Excellent team working skills
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Ukrainian and English, including high standard of written and verbal professional communication
· Diplomatic skills and ability to be equally comfortable and effective with marginalized people and senior government officials
· Preferably a Masters Degree in Public Health, Public Policy, Law or similar relevant academic qualification
· Strong computer skills
· Tolerant unprejudiced treatment to representatives of vulnerable groups
· Availability to travel nationally and internationally
Duties and responsibilities:
· Administering the IRF public health programs
· Developing strategies, workplans and budgets for the Foundation’s public health programs
· Establishing and developing relations with key local and international partners
· Managing provision of technical and financial support to the Foundation public health grantees and other partners and monitoring program implementation
· Developing and maintaining relationships with appropriate government officials, key donors and other stakeholders
· Contributing to the overall technical and organizational strengthening of the Foundation team
· Advocacy on Harm Reduction and other key issues of concern to the programs
· Promotion of effective Public Health approaches and principles including equal access to healthcare and human rights approach to public health
