From September 1, Bursa Hub opens its doors again for volunteers. The space can be used for the work of volunteer organizations free of charge, subject to prior registration.
How did Bursa Hub come about?
Bursa Hub is located in Kyiv on Podil. The premises in which it is located were renovated and prepared for work by the BF “Union of Dead Lawyers” together with the volunteer initiatives “Courage to Restore” and the UA First Aid BF. Thanks to this, the hub has many jobs and stable internet.
“It was important for us to create such a space so that our volunteers would have their own safe place with the Internet and a chair where they could plan the logistics of orders or help,” says Ruslan, the director of the “Union of Dead Lawyers” Foundation. — For us, this issue has become a challenge when all the volunteers work in different offices, and it is difficult to establish communication between us and the military, as well as to feel safe. The idea of creating the Hub arose just in time for the blackout at the same time with us and our friends from UA First Aid and Dare to Restore. Therefore, this Hub has become a community for like-minded people, where there is a warm atmosphere and you can volunteer with pleasure.”
How does BursaHAB work?
The space works in a co-working format every day from Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Organizations can also hold events, workshops, etc. in the Hub free of charge. To do this, you need to agree with the administrator in advance.
The space is ready for blackouts – the Internet will not disappear, and stable electricity is provided by a generator.
A significant contribution to the appropriate arrangement of the Hub was provided by the “Renaissance” International Foundation, and the implementation of the project from our side was made possible thanks to the support of Lifting Hands International.
How to become a resident of Bursa Hub?
If you are a volunteer organization/its representative or an independent volunteer and want to become a Bursa Hub resident, fill out the registration form and wait for confirmation. Electricity, internet, coffee and incredible people nearby are guaranteed.
