World Titanium Dependence on Russia: Economy, Army, and Global Risks. Research by Trap Aggressor

Trap Aggressor has prepared a large-scale study entitled “Titanium Dependence of the Russian Federation and the World: Economy, Army, and Global Risks”. This report analyzes the global titanium market, the strategic importance of this metal, and Russia’s role in the international trade of this critical commodity. In particular, it explores why the world remains dependent on Russian titanium products and why sanctions on this sector have been delayed.

Analysts also described how titanium provides the Russian Federation with the ability to wage wars, why the production of modern military equipment is impossible without it, and how Western countries still remain part of this chain. This study is not only about the metal, but also about global security, double standards, and “gray” schemes that still exist in the global economy.

Trap Aggressor previously investigated JSC Ruspolymet, one of the companies in the report, which trades in titanium. It revealed how the Klochay family organized the supply of key materials, including titanium, to the Russian military-industrial complex via Europe. They also investigated Stupinsk Metallurgical Company, a key producer of alloys for the Russian military-industrial complex, including rocket engines and combat aircraft.
