The Golden Writer of Ukraine awards ceremony was held in Kyiv on November 24. The award was founded by Tetyana and Yuriy Lohush and the International Charitable Fund Art Treasury. The initiative was sponsored by the companies Zolotaya Balka, Orlando, InAlto, Coca-Cola, Winecoman, Hararuk, Kraft Foods and the International Renaissance Foundation.
The writers recognized have had print runs of over 100,000 since 2000. They included:
