The International Renaissance Foundation (IRF), together with the Eastern Europe Foundation (EEF), with support from the Norwegian Agency for Development and Cooperation (Norad) and in partnership with Sweden (Sida), is implementing the project “Empowering Civil Society for Ukraine’s Resilience and Recovery” ( the Impulse Project) . As part of this project, a small grants competition was announced for organizations from the regions of Ukraine most affected by the war.
The goal of the small grants competition is to engage civil society organizations from the most affected regions in planning Ukraine’s recovery and advocating for the principles of sustainable development, human rights, non-discrimination, and gender equality, as well as transparent governance in recovery strategies and local community development plans. To provide opportunities for the organizational development of teams through the implementation of small grants and participation in training programs and partnership development.
The Expert Council of the “Democracy and Good Governance” Program, which organized the competition, supported 24 project proposals. The winners of the competition were:
