Building safe and human borders through the public assessment of the Polish-Ukrainian border

The project aims at improving governance and accountability at the Polish-Ukrainian border in order to reduce corruption, degrading treatment and discrimination of those wishing to cross it to access economic opportunities and maintain cultural and social contacts. Surveying the realities of communities living at both sides of the border and people crossing it on a regular basis, highlight impact of corruption and poor infrastructure on local communities and travellers, and document corrupt and unlawful practices and related tensions to inform a body of advocacy and awareness-raising work at the community, national, bilateral and European levels to facilitate necessary improvements.
