International Renaissance Foundation in partnership with the Think Tank Foundation (TTF) under the financial support of the Embassy of Sweden in Ukraine (SIDA) announce a contest “INTERNSHIP OF UNIVERSITY STUDENTS AT THINK TANKS” (hereinafter referred to as the “contest”) within the framework of the “Think Tank Support Initiative in Ukraine”
International Renaissance Foundation in partnership with the Think Tank Foundation (TTF) under the financial support of the Embassy of Sweden in Ukraine (SIDA) announce a contest “INTERNSHIP OF UNIVERSITY STUDENTS AT THINK TANKS” (hereinafter referred to as the “contest”) within the framework of the “Think Tank Support Initiative in Ukraine”.
The contest is aimed to attract university graduates to the work in think tanks; to popularize think tanks and analytical research practice among university graduates; to attract young generation of analysist to work for think tanks; to popularize the practice of internship for students on the basis of non-governmental organizations.
It is expected that, as a result of the contest, 20 students will be selected to have their internship on the basis of think tanks that are grantees of the Think Tank Support Initiative in Ukraine (list of think tanks and thematic areas of their work).
The program of internship will include the training program consisting of the following components:
- Training program in organizational development, management of think tanks and policy analysis;
- Short study tour to European think tanks.
Duration of the internship: October 2015 – June 2016.
Interns will be paid a stipend of 4,400.00 UAH (including taxes).
The selection will be conducted in two stages and will be performed by the Qualifying Commission of the contest composed of representatives of partner think tanks and the administration of the International Renaissance Foundation.
Announcement of results: no later than October 19.
Deadline for applications: 23.59 09 October 2015 at golota@irf.kiev.ua. Applications received after the deadline will not be considered.
