Meeting with representatives of the public sector regarding the discussion of Ukraine’s plan within the framework of the Ukraine Facility program

On Thursday, October 12, Oleksiy Sobolev, Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine for Digital Development, Digital Transformation and Digitalization, held a meeting with representatives of public organizations and the expert environment in the process of preparing the Plan of Ukraine within the framework of the Ukraine Facility program of the European Union. The event took place with the support of the International Renaissance Foundation and the Kyiv School of Economics.

During the event, Oleksiy Sobolev discussed the proposals of civil society representatives regarding reforms and policies to be included in the work under the Plan of Ukraine.

“We received and analyzed more than 120 different comments from representatives of the public sector regarding the policies and reforms that we propose in the Plan of Ukraine. Many of them have already been taken into account by the Government in the development of this document, in particular with regard to the EU Green Course, the development of human capital and the reform of the public sector of the economy. We will consider individual comments related to a number of directions in the process of preparing the final version of the Plan. We are grateful to the representatives of the expert environment for their high-quality work and hope for their further participation in the process of preparing this strategic document,” said Oleksiy Sobolev.

Currently, representatives of the Government are working on the development of the Plan of Ukraine, in particular within the framework of the Interdepartmental Working Group headed by the First Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yulia Svyridenko, as well as experts and representatives of analytical centers and business.
