The Second Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum held in Berlin
230 NGOs from the EU member-states, Eastern Partnership countries, international networks and third countries were invited to the Second Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum. Participants were selected from 562 applicants. The selection was done by the Organizing Committee of the Forum and endorsed by the European Commission.
The Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum represents a wide range of civil society organizations: trade unions, employers’ organizations, professional associations, NGOs, think tanks, non-profit foundations, national and international organizations of civil society and their networks, as well as other civil society actors. The event was attended by organizations from the EU partner-countries, as well as EU member-states and international organizations and networks.
The overall aim of the Forum is to promote contacts among Civil Society Organisations and facilitate their dialogue with public authorities in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Republic of Moldova and Ukraine.
During the plenary session of the Second Day of the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum, results of the national coordinators election were announced. Ihor Kohut has become a coordinator from Ukraine. In addition, Hanna Holubovska-Onisimova was elected as a coordinator of the third working group. In general, Ukrainian delegation took an active part in the activities of working groups and subgroups. In particular, results of the three subgroups of the first working group were presented by members of Ukrainian delegation – Nataliya Shapovalova, Andriy Kulykov and Sviatoslav Pavliuk.

The First Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum took place on November 16-17, 2009, and brought together over 200 civil society organizations.
