She graduated from Kyiv National Linguistic University, undertook postgraduate studies at the Institute of Journalism at Kyiv National University, and was a scholarship holder of the Open Society International Policy Programme, the NATO Democracy Programme, and the Chevening Programme in International Relations at the University of Kiel (UK).
She joined the Foundation’s team in 2011 as Deputy Executive Director. At the Foundation, Inna Pidluska leads cooperation with other civil society donors and international partners, works on thematic programmes and contributes to the Foundation’s strategic development.
Her professional focus is on promoting the constructive involvement of civil society in the reconstruction and recovery of Ukraine, as well as in the reforms leading Ukraine towards EU accession, including democratic governance, transparency and accountability, and civic participation at national and local levels. She also oversees the Foundation’s support for think tanks and policy advocacy.
Before joining the International Renaissance Foundation, she served as Executive Director of the Yalta European Strategy (YES) from 2006 to 2011, was the Founding Director of the “Europe XXI” Foundation, and was a co-founder and Programme Director of the Ukrainian Independent Centre for Political Research. She served on the Board and Expert Councils of the International Renaissance Foundation, was a member of the Steering Committee of the World Movement for Democracy, and chaired the Board of the Ukrainian Philanthropists’ Forum.
She is currently also a member of the board of the Prague Centre for Civil Society and of the Advisory Council of the House of Europe in Ukraine.
