The International Renaissance Foundation announces the results of the contest “Stop corruption: public action in the Odessa region.”

The International Renaissance Foundation announces the results of the contest “Stop corruption: public action in the Odessa region.”

Of the projects submitted to the second phase of the joint contest of the Odesa Regional State Administration and the International Renaissance Foundation, seven projects were supported.

Winner projects will be focused on anti-corruption activities in the following areas: urban development on the coast, illegal allocation of land lots, the use of state-owned land lots and municipally owned land lots, abuses encountered by entrepreneurs, public procurement monitoring and transparency of concluding agreements on determining public transport routes.

Most initiatives will last six months, and the successful practices and accomplishments of anti-corruption activities will be publicized every two weeks. Winners will implement their projects in collaboration with the “Anti-Corruption Office” and the new team of the Odessa Regional State Administration.
