“All people have potential”

Marginalization and social exclusion have become the main topics of socio-political discussions in recent years. Poverty, homelessness, and physical disability push millions of people to the marginal side of life. Developing the system of social care, modern society of prosperity has to, first and foremost, take heed to find a place for every person, ensure a person’s right for self-identity, allow a person to feel herself/himself a full-fledged and active member of the society, where she/he lives.

The method of pedagogical work with socially excluded members of society is called “help for self-help” and is direcred on enhancement, development and successful functioning of a personality. This is not a passive form of assistance that humiliates a person and makes her/him even weaker, but it is rather a purpose-oriented pedagogical process that develops a person’s self-respect and recovers her/his lost dignity.

“Youth centers as innovative form of working with youth”

This brochure is an original book of advice for youth and persons who deal with youth problems. One of the most important tasks of contemporary times is civil, national-patriotic upbringing of children and youth, their involvement into socio-political and economic transformations, and Ukraine’s process of integration into the world community. International youth exchanges provide young people with an opportunity to become familiar with other life realities and discuss issues that interest them. Such way, for the youth this is a chance to learn from each other, find differences and common features in cultures of different countries, familiarize themselves with variety of cultures and traditions.
