Problems of legislative support for educational activity were discussed in Odesa
October 17, the Institute of Electoral Law and the Society for Constitutional Law of Ukraine, under the support of the International Renaissance Foundation, conducted a roundtable sitting called “Problems of Legislative Support for Educational Activity” in Odesa.
The roundtable was conducted within the framework of a project “Development of principles and methods of unification, harmonization and codification of legislation on education in Ukraine”, whose goal is to develop the concept of the code of laws on education.
The aim of the event was to outline a range of real problems of the Ukrainian legislation on education, as well as to search for ways to resolve them. Constitutional foundations of the legal regulation of the educational activity, forming of the state policy in the area of education, experience of court resolution of disputes in the area of education were the main topics of speakers’ speeches and the issues that were discussed by specialists in the process of the sitting.
