Free Online Course on Data Analysis “Machine Learning” is Launched

Today, on April 3, a free online course "Machine Learning" on the educational web platform "Prometheus" is launched. This is the last course from the "Data Analysis" cycle that the International Renaissance Foundation and Prometheus launched last year.

Today, on April 3, a free online course “Machine Learning” on the educational web platform “Prometheus” is launched. This is the last course from the “Data Analysis” cycle that the International Renaissance Foundation and Prometheus launched last year.

The International Renaissance Foundation continues to support projects that contribute to the development of analytical centers and enhance the quality of intelligence that can be used to develop public policy in the country. Online courses on tools for data analysis is the next step in this direction.

To become a “Machine Learning” student, it is required to have knowledge of higher mathematics, algebra and linear programming in Python. The course is free, will run for 4 weeks, and video lectures can be listened to without a risk of being expelled for truancy, because the tasks and forum are available at any time during the course.

“Machine Learning” is the last fourth course from the “Data Analysis” cycle. Other courses from the cycle started earlier; they are “Data Analysis and Statistical Inference in Language R”, “Data Visualization”, “Processing and Analyzing of Big Data.”

The course was created within the “Initiative of Think Tanks Development in Ukraine”, performed by the International Renaissance Foundation in partnership with the Think Tanks Fund (TTF) and funded by the Embassy of Sweden in Ukraine.
