Ukrainian days in Tartu: UKRAINE! UNMUTED campaign will be presented in Estonia

On 7-8 November, in the Estonian city of Tartu, which this year has the status of the European Capital of Culture, the Institute for Cultural Strategy will hold a series of events during which participants will be able to learn more about themselves and us (Ukrainians, Estonians, Europeans), understand each other better, and become a little closer. It’s about people and cultures, cities and countries.

The programme includes discussions about culture, people of culture, and our communities in the face of modern challenges. We are planning discussions about culture and art as a form of interaction with reality, the creation of reality – there will be presentations of the online resource about the Ukrainian contemporary art project Ukrainian Slice and the presentation of the essay collection UKRAINE! UNMUTED essay collection in Estonian. There will also be an opportunity to immerse yourself in the artistic context, as performances by Ukrainian artists are planned.

The organisers are looking forward to welcoming Estonians, Ukrainians in Estonia, and everyone interested, as the discussions will be streamed online on Facebook and other resources, both ours and those of our partners.
