Attention!!! First All-Ukrainian Pro-European Civil Society Forum
The European Programme of the International Renaissance Foundation, Ukrainian Centre for Economic and Political Studies named after O. Razumkov, Centre for Peace, Conversion and Foreign Policy of Ukraine, Civil Society Coalition “Donbas European”, Donetsk and NGO “European Dialogue”, L’viv are pleased to invite you to take part in the First All-Ukrainian Pro-European Civil Society Forum to take place on May 19 in Kyiv (Hotel “Rus”, vul. Hospital’na, 4).
The Opening of the Forum will take place at 10.00. The Opening of the Exhibition of civil society projects in the field of European integration will precede it, starting from 9.00 simultaneously with registration.
The aim of the forum is two-fold. Firstly, the Forum will be aimed at sharing experience and presenting best practices of NGOs from all over Ukraine active in the field of European integration among themselves and to public authorities, international donor and diplomatic community and media, who will be invited to the forum. Secondly, during the forum NGOs will present their views on Ukraine’s policy of European integration, role of civil society in the process, and mechanisms of cooperation between public authorities and civil society organizations on the matter. The overall idea is to show that civil society organizations play increasingly important role in the process of Ukraine’s European integration and this role shall be reinforced via improved cooperation among NGOs and between them and public authorities.
The All-Ukrainian Pro-European Civil Society Forum will take place on the eve of the Day of Europe in Kyiv and bring together more than 60 NGOs from all over Ukraine, which are active in the field of European integration. In addition representatives of public authorities, international donor and diplomatic community and media are invited to participate. We expect more than 150 participants. The official part of the Forum will be preceded by two-days working sessions on exchange of experience among NGOs implementing projects on European integration.
