Regional European Information Centers conduct interactive events for youth on topics of European integration

Interesting events for youth from different regions of Ukraine in a format of photo contests, book and cinema clubs will be organized by the participants of a training “Standards of working with youth in the field of informing about European integration”. The training was held by the European Information Center (EIC) in the city of Sumy on January 25-29 of 2010, under the auspices of the Network of European Information Centers of Ukraine and under the support of the International Renaissance Foundation.

During the training, representatives of regional EICs and other NGOs considered European standards and modern informative-gaming and interactive methods of working with youth, as well as a presented experience in organization of topic events. On the basis of the acquired knowledge and skills and with participation of experienced trainers Yaryna Borenko and Andriy Donets, the participants developed plans of activity with youth audience in their regions. They will implement those plans during February and March of 2010.

Photo contest “Europe in my city: architecture, modernity and historical memory” will be conducted in the following cities:
