Authorities and public to discuss the role of Ukraine in the development of European Strategy for the Danube Region
The seminar will be attended by representatives of the Interagency working group on preparation of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region under the Ministry of Regional Development and Construction of Ukraine, members of working group and journalists.
It is planned to discuss the position of the Government of Ukraine and its departments on the content of the strategy and action plan proposals submitted to the European Commission, prospects of Ukraine’s participation in the strategy implementation in the future, as well as the role of Interagency working group in consultation with the EU and commenting on the Government of Ukraine’s position on this strategy.
The public will present a paper “Public vision of Ukraine’s participation in the EU Strategy for the Danube Region development”.
After the seminar, a press conference involving representatives of state authorities and the public is planned to be held.
Date of the seminar – October 13, 2010, time of the seminar: 9:30-15:00. Location – Aarhus Information and Training Center at the central office of the Ministry of Environmental Protection of Ukraine, Kyiv, 35 Urytskoho St.
